That way you'll prevent potential compatibility issues with other 32-bit applications - specifically when third-party add-ins are available for the 32-bit operating system. Plus Microsoft Office 2010 provides support for 32-bit versions of Office 2010 running on 64-bit operating systems.

It's as easy as completing these 4 simple steps.

The first step is to purchase the software you want by visiting the Officeworks Microsoft Office 2010 product page . Then simply add the item/s you wish to purchase to your cart and complete the online order payment process as per regular online orders.

Once you have completed your online purchase, it's time to download your software.

You can do so by clicking the 'Download Now' button in your online purchase confirmation email. This email will be sent directly to your nominated email address and will contain all of your product information including your unique 25-character product key.

Before the download begins, you'll be asked where to save your file. We recommend you download it to your Desktop for easy access. And remember not to rename the file as it may cause issues during the installation process.

When you click 'Download Now' you will be presented with two options: 'Run' or 'Save'.

• If you select 'Run', the file will download and automatically initiate the installation of the software on your computer.
• If you select 'Save', you can save the file to your computer and then click on the file to install the software at your own convenience.

As the file downloads, you can watch its progress in the status bar on your screen, as it climbs to 100%.

If the download stops or is interrupted, simply check your internet connection and retry your download.

Once the download of the software is complete, simply go to the location that you saved the file and double-click on the new icon to start the installation.

You'll simply need to run the setup and follow the onscreen instructions. However, if you initially selected 'Install Now' or 'Run', the file will automatically start installing after the download is complete.

To use your version of Microsoft Office 2010 once the software is installed, you'll need to activate it within the first 30 days after installation.

You'll have the option to activate the software either over the internet or by phone.
