Zip is an easy and flexible payment method which gives you the freedom to buy now and pay later. There are two reusable account types, Zip Pay and Zip Money. Repayments are flexible to suit your lifestyle - weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and you can pay as much as you like as long as you meet your minimum monthly repayments (advised at the time of sign up).

What do you need to apply for Zip?
When applying for Zip, you will be asked to provide personal information and you must:
- Be over 18 years old and an Australian permanent resident or citizen
- Have a valid email address and mobile number
- Have a good credit history
- Have 3-5 minutes (on average) to apply, some cases might take longer

Zip Pay and Zip Money are easy and flexible buy now, pay later payment models allowing customers to shop online or in store and receive their goods before payment is completed.
Zip works like an account. For all purchases, you make during a month you receive a statement with your closing balance on the 1st day of the following month. You have until the end of the month to pay off your balance for the account to remain fee free.
You can apply for a Zip account through the Zip website link. You will be required to provide some personal information in order to be approved for Zip Pay or Zip Money. Zip Money has more steps to complete as the credit limit is significantly higher. This includes residential and employment status information on top of the information you need to provide for a Zip Pay account.
Important: As this is an application for a line of credit, Zip may perform a credit check as part of the sign up process. Please ensure that all personal information you provide is accurate and your own, false information will result in your application being unsuccessful. Once you submit the application, Zip will provide you with a decision as soon as possible.
