Metro Delivery areas are defined as selected areas of Brisbane, Melbourne, Geelong, Perth & Sydney. Since these areas are closer to our warehouses, we are able to offer quicker delivery times.

Non-Metro Deliveries

Regional and country areas are covered by Non-Metro Deliveries. Because deliveries to these areas have longer distances to travel, they incur different charges and delivery times from Metro Deliveries. A Non-Metro Delivery incurs a charge of $25.95 (excluding large items and special orders) and takes 2 to 7 business days.

Orders for in stock items placed after 11:30am will be delivered the following business day to metro areas of Brisbane, Melbourne, Geelong, Perth and Sydney.

Larger items and special orders incur additional delivery charge as they require extra handling and take longer to transport. The amount will be calculated at the checkout and is dependent on the size of the item purchased.

If your order also weighs over 200kg, it may be subject to an additional delivery charge. When this charge applies, one of our Customer Service Team Members will contact you prior to shipment with the total delivery cost.

Note:

During the 'wet season', deliveries to the Northern Territory and Northern Queensland may take longer due to adverse weather conditions.

Warrnambool – Free Next Day Delivery:
Delivery Lead time is 1-2 business days (other than “special order” items which may take longer). Times are based on working days and are approximate only. No liability for late delivery. Times are accurate as at time of publication, however may vary according to weather and road conditions. Delivery is free for orders of $100 or more (excluding furniture, print & copy and items classified as Big and Bulky) within 3280 postcode area. Orders with a combined weight over 200kg (including non-Big and Bulky) may be subject to an additional delivery fee.

Warragul – Free Next Day Delivery:

Large Items

Large items are those which require extra handling. Because of this, they take longer to transport and incur a higher delivery charge.

Large item information appears on the 'Features' tab of the product page. It is also marked in the Shopping Cart with a note that says, 'Large item delivery charges apply.'

  • Large Item Delivery to Metro Areas

    Large items incur a delivery charge of $39.95 for Metro Orders and take between 1 and 3 business days for delivery.

  • Large Item Delivery to Non-Metro Areas

    Large items incur a delivery charge of $49.95 for Non-Metro 1 areas and $59.95 for Non-Metro 2 areas. The delivery times are between 2 to 7 business days for these items. If an order includes both stationery and large items, two separate charges for delivery are charged for both types of items. This is because large items are shipped from separate warehouses.

Special Orders

Some items are marked as Special Order Items and are delivered separately from regular orders. These items may at times be delivered directly from our suppliers.

The delivery timeframe is approximate depending on supplier availability. Customised Special Order Furniture items and Custom Print items cannot be returned or refunded due to change of mind as these products are manufactured and produced according to customer specifications. These products can only be returned if faulty or damaged.

If the item you are ordering is a Special Order Item, special order information will be available on the 'Features' tab of the product page. Please also note the longer delivery times for Special Order Items.

Authority to Leave

If you select the 'Authority to leave' option while checking out, we will leave your order on your doorstep even if no one is around to receive it.

Please note in this case Officeworks cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged deliveries after they have been dropped off.

Click & Collect

Delivery is FREE for Click & Collect. Delivery time frames to stores are 1 to 3 business days for Click & Collect in the Metro area and 2 to 7 business days in the Non-Metro area.

Place a Click & Collect order online and choose a store to pick up your order from. A team member will give you a call when your order is ready for pick up. When collecting your order from the store, please bring your tax invoice, order confirmation or a valid ID for confirmation of purchase. Click & Collect is available on weekends and public holidays if a team member from your chosen store has confirmed that your order is ready for pick up.

Custom Delivery Quotes

At Officeworks, we endeavour to deliver above and beyond. So if you have a special request outside of our normal services, we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

  • Orders Totalling Over 200kg

    Orders that altogether total over 200kg may be subject to a custom delivery charge, as they are outside our standard delivery criteria. An Officeworks representative from the Customer Service Centre will contact you and confirm this charge. If you have any queries about this please call 1300-OFFICE (633 423), Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm (AEST).

  • Deliveries to Remote Areas

    Officeworks does not normally offer delivery to selected remote areas and areas that are difficult to access due to their terrain. If the system indicates that your area is not one we deliver to, you may still be able to get items delivered to you for a custom quote. Please contact us directly on 1 300 OFFICE (633 423) to discuss this possibility.

Delivery Time Frames

Orders and deliveries are processed Monday to Friday excluding public holidays. Deliveries are made between 8:00am - 5pm Monday to Friday, with the exception of Gold Coast deliveries, which are made between 8am and 6pm. We currently do not have a weekend delivery service.

During the wet season, deliveries to Northern Territory and Northern Queensland may be affected by adverse weather conditions. In this event, deliveries may take longer than our usual timeframes.

Delivery time frames may change from time to time due to unforeseen circumstances. We will endeavour to provide the most up-to-date information for your order or contact you if circumstances change. A team member will contact you via your phone number as listed in your contact details. Please ensure your contact details are up to date.
