For Melbourne-based artist and performer Carolyn Hawkins, her passion for music flows through her work in animation, illustration, graphic design, painting, prints and drawing. What comes in the Lenovo Yoga Box?
Alright, let’s get it out of the box and see what it can do! You’ve got the laptop, a power adapter, a Lenovo digital pencil – which I am really excited to try out. It’s quite sleek and stylish in its design, and quite lightweight but still feels sturdy. I really like the metallic finishes it has.

2-in-1 Laptop Versatility
The best thing about this 2-in-1 device is the way you can easily switch it from a laptop to a tablet. The generous 14-inch responsive touchscreen is great for my creative projects, and then I can easily transform it into a laptop with a regular keyboard if I need to do any emails or other admin work. I love the versatility that it can switch from a laptop to an upright tablet. I find that these rounded corners make it quite comfortable to use, especially when I'm using it in tablet mode.
Display Greatness
As an artist, the visuals are really important to me and the quality of the OLED display is fantastic. It’s got a great 1920x1080 resolution for detailed work. This laptop is also a real workhorse, [powered by a 13th gen Intel i7 processor], which provides real grunt. Then there's the large 512 gigabyte SSD storage and 16 gigabytes of RAM onboard, as well as an integrated Intel Iris XE graphics processor, which is key for my creative work. Basically, it all boils down to the fact that it can handle my giant files.

Why the Lenovo Digital Pen is a Must
I love working with all kinds of mediums and I never really know when inspiration is going to come, so it's really helpful to have [the touchscreen for ease and] a digital pen to capture sketches and quick notes.
Security and Connectivity
If I'm on the go, knowing there's an all-day battery life^ is reassuring to me. I really like that I can sync to my phone thanks to the [Intel] Unison app*. So I can take calls or reply to messages on this device while I'm working. I also like [the] feature … of the security shutter being able to be turned on and off on the camera, and also the wide variety of ports on the device, which allows it to be easily connected.
The Lenovo Yoga Touchscreen Laptop Wrap-Up
I can see myself using it in a variety of settings: in my studio but also outdoors, if I need to be on location somewhere, or even if I just want to watch a video in my living room. I can’t wait to see how I can utilise this in my upcoming creative projects.
