Can You Tell Me How to Setup Chromecast?

Learning how to set up Chromecast is simple – install the Google Home app on your mobile device and add your Chromecast.

First, you’ll need to plug your Chromecast into your TV and install the Google Home app on your mobile device. Then tap ‘+’ (the plus symbol) at the top left of the Google Home app screen. Follow the steps to connect Chromecast to your local WiFi network. After this, you’ll be able to ‘cast’ content from your mobile device: select a Chromecast-enabled app (like Netflix) and the content you want to view, then tap the ‘Cast’ button. You’ll be able to see the Chromecast device you just set up appear as an option, ready for you to select.

What Is ‘Cloud Computing’?

Cloud computing is a very broad term that has different definitions. However, in short it is storing and accessing data and programs over the internet instead of having to store data on your computer’s drives. The benefits of cloud computing means that you aren’t solely reliant on your local computer to access your data. With cloud computing, you can access your data anywhere on any type of device, as long as you have a reliable internet connection.

Gone are the days when writing would flash across your screen to tell you your computer had been ‘infected’. Today’s viruses can operate in stealth mode on your system. These rogue programs can collate data in the background without the user even noticing something is going on. Having a trusted internet security program that’s been properly installed by an IT professional is the best way to ensure your system is safe and your data is properly protected.

Can I Use My Android Phone to Share My WiFi Password?

A simple and easy way of sharing your WiFi password with others using your phone is via Bluetooth.

On your phone, open your settings and select ‘Network and Internet’. From there, you should

be able to see the WiFi network you’re currently connected to. Select the WiFi network, then tap the ‘Share’ option.
