This Daniel Smith Watercolour paint lets you create everything you can imagine with the world’s widest range of watercolours. Amethyst Genuine is a rich, true purple, almost black in masstone and capable of infinite gradation. Although it is a granulating colour, it can also make lovely clear washes with just the barest hint of sparkle from the crushed gemstone. The Daniel Smith Watercolour range includes 266 colours across the Extra Fine, PrimaTek and Luminescent lines and provides vibrant and consistent colour no matter your project.

This is a water-based paint with high quality, extra fine pigment.
It is formulated to meet and exceed the highest industry standards for lightfastness, colour value, tinting strength, clarity, vibrancy, undertone, particle size, density and viscosity.
The Daniel Smith Watercolour range includes 266 colours across the Extra Fine, PrimaTek and Luminescent lines.
The colours can easily be mixed for even more variations.
