How Chelsea Ford's collaboration platform empowers female foodies

 

The Females in Food collective came about when founder, Chelsea Ford, an expert and leader of the food and beverage industry, left a successful career in corporate Australia (Kellogs, Nestle and Douwe Egberts) and began consulting.

The more Ford moved away from the large players, the more she discovered women in food and beverage struggling to not only find the business information they needed to get ahead, but also a supportive network that understood what they were going through. As a result she developed a passion for shaping a better future for women in the food and beverage industry and Females in Food was born.

The collective now consists of hundreds of female food and beverage artisans, innovators and entrepreneurs, working together to bring amazing Australian-made produce to the world.
