Whilst every endeavour is taken to ensure your parcel is protected during delivery, damage and loss can happen. Mailman parcel protection can protect your parcel contents from loss or damage, from drop-off to delivery up to the value of $1,500.
What is covered?
Your contents are covered for loss or damage whilst in transit using the Mailman Parcel Delivery Service.
What isn't covered?
Any contents that do not meet the conditions of carriage, including, but not limited to flowers or plants, cash or other negotiable instruments, jewellery, cigarettes or tobacco products, irreplaceable items or other such valuables fragile or perishable goods.For full details, please refer to the conditions of carriage.
How can I make a claim?
Any claims for damage, or destruction or loss of Goods must be made in writing by filling in the Parcel Delivery query form.
Damage to the Goods – an endorsement must be at the time or within 24 hours of receiving the goods. A formal claim must be received in writing within 7 business days of delivery of the goods.
Non-Delivery of Goods – within 30 business days from the date the courier receives the goods.
Proof of contents value will be required for any claim.
