Can I get Parcel Protection cover?
Yes. As an optional extra, you can protect your parcel for loss and damage up to the value of $1500. Simply purchase a Parcel Protection label and attach it to your parcel beside the parcel delivery label. For exclusions, please refer to the Conditions of Carriage - clause 11.3.
What is covered under Parcel Protection?
Under Parcel Protection, your contents are covered for loss or damage during transit under the Mailman service.
What isn't covered: fragile items and other items specified within the Conditions of Carriage. Refer to the brochure or Conditions of Carriage - clause 11.3 for more information. Parcels are also not covered for theft or damage where ‘signature on delivery’ has not been selected.
How can I make a claim?
Fill out the online parcel protection claim form or call 1300 633 423. Claims for damaged parcels must be made within 7 days of delivery. Claims for non-delivery of goods need to be made within 120 days of the expected delivery date. You must provide proof of value for lost or damaged goods for all claims.
