Rated 5 out of 5 by Chyziesboy This thing has changed my life!!! :-)
I only created this account in order to leave feedback for this fantastic product as I enjoy the experience of shopping at my local store. As I am mobility impaired, previously I struggled with space and organisation which affected the amount of time I could study. Obviously I needed help to assemble the work station and it only took two of us 2 hours to assemble. The unit presents some difficulty simply due to the amount of components to assemble. Take your time, layout and identify your parts and follow the plans 100%. You should have no problems and the benefits are well worth it with everything you need well within arms reach and visually it is impactful without being invasive. We love it! I now have my own work space that the whole family can also share with plenty of room for everyone!!! Thanks Officeworks with special thanks to Bec from your Albury store for the excellent service! :-)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dyri Horrible to assemble, but great product
This was an absolute nightmare to assemble, especially for someone with no proper tools except a screwdriver. There were a lot of holes that were not pre-drilled. Like others have said before, the cabinet doesn't actually fit the computer unfortunately, but other than that, it's fairly sturdy and great if you need lots of space to spread out.

I have had this desk for almost three years now,and it is by far the best desk I have had. Assembly was time-consuming, but not that difficult (someone strong will be needed to lift the top surface though). I did not expect this desk to be as good as it is, and I believe that it is good value for money.
One issue with the assembly was the placement of the runners for the suspension file draw. The instructions for this are either incorrect or were impossible for me to understand (I am relatively good with instruction sheets). I was able to assemble the runners and the draw, but I had to figure out how to do it for myself from scratch.
Also, the holes for the runners are not pre-drilled; this is minor, but surprisingly irritating, as this means you must decide on the placement yourself. I would have happily payed slightly extra for these holes to be pre-drilled.
A few other words of warning: The space between the draws and cupboard is much narrower than it looks in the picture, and the cupboard will not fit a computer tower (and I would not recommend placing anything which heats up in there as there is no ventilation).
On the plus side, the desk looks as if to be very easy to dissemble for moving, contrary to another review on here, as it uses reversible locking cams rather than screws to hold the panels together. It would also be far easier to assemble the second time as the screws/lugs etc. will have already been installed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by djdcomplete Great desk and nice price
Bought this desk yesterday. Took around 3 hours to build. Material quality is great. Instructions are OK, but not as good as competitor furniture vendors (need to look at pictures very carefully). Joins didn't align completely prior to putting on the desk top, but the top covers this up. Filing draw instructions were very vague and was tricky to get on the runners. Kit doesn't include any spares pieces, so be careful to not lose any screws! Overall build quality feels pretty sturdy. I definitely recommended building this desk as close to where it's going to go as possible, as you won't want to move it far once completed. Desk will not come apart easily if you ever want to move it. Overall, desk is a very decent quality for the price.
